Courtney Dillard is a news producer and multimedia journalist. For the past six years, she has worked as a morning news producer in Atlanta, Georgia and Fort Myers, Florida.
In 2015, she received her Master of Science degree in journalism at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. Courtney produced weekly broadcasts for Chicago Access Network Television (CAN-TV). She also produced pieces on a wide range of topics from public health to gentrification and segregation in Chicago neighborhoods.
In 2011, she received her bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee with a major in Communication Studies and minors in Sociology and Spanish.
Before attending graduate school, Courtney worked as a media associate at Starcom in Chicago, Illinois. She planned strategic media recommendations for Darden Restaurants and activated national TV campaigns for the Kellogg’s brand portfolio.
Courtney lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, F45 and spending time with friends and family.
